Fabio Chiarelotto returned to his native Tuscany where he has dedicated himself to making elegant and impactful wines from his vineyards near Suvereto.The region’s petrified clay soils, and its temperate, Mediterranean climate, give starling intensity of flavor to its wines. The local vegetation is called macchia, a blend of evergreen shrubs and herbs very similar to Provence’s garrigue.
